Caring for your Patients Receiving Infusion Therapy

Nurses working in partnership with the interdisciplinary health care team, individuals requiring infusion therapy and their families, have an important role in providing infusion therapy.

This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required in conducting an assessment for requiring vascular access, documentation and screening for complications.

The course also presents in-depth strategies for selection of a vascular access device, vein selection according to flow rates, client teaching, documentation, management of complications and more advanced strategies for evaluation of vascular access programs.
